1. Talent Acquisition - Candidate Journey

This demo is based on a HR department engagement where a significant number of job applications were coming.

In this demo, Krista handles a candidate’s journey including various steps to apply for a job while providing his/her details.

The candidate chats with Krista informing that he wants to apply for a job. Krista asks for basic information and runs some validations before asking for further information.

Once all the information is processed, Krista then searches for all available jobs across various stores and location. The candidate chooses the preferred store, preferred role and applies for the role.

Krista asks the candidate to complete an assessment with a presented link. Once done, Krista schedules an interview with the candidate’s preferred date and time

2. Talent Acquisition - Hiring Manager Experience

In this demo, Krista handles a hiring manager’s journey including various steps to provide feedback after interviewing a candidate and take further steps as required.

As soon as the interview is completed, Krista engages the hiring manager for feedback on the candidate. The hiring manager can choose to add comments about the candidate and indicate to Krista how to move forward with the candidate. In this example the manager chooses to make an offer.

Once Krista has receives this decision she leverages an understanding of policy documents and other data to crafts the offer letter, send it to the candidate and texts them to let them know about their offer letter.

All while keep track of this is various system and informing the hiring manager along the way. True orchestration of people, systems, AI and data.

3. Employee Q&A with Agent Assist

This demo features Krista AI Q&A where an employee, here a HR representative, is currently interacting with another employee. The employee has reached out with urgent HR-related questions such as “How should I report a work-related injury” and “How can I report an incident of vandalism at the office?”

This use case demonstrates the speed with which Krista can assist a user when dealing with time sensitive matters. The alternative is often the user having to search through a document repository or collection of FAQs. With Krista, they simply ask a question and get a prompt, accurate reply. Additionally, Krista supplies the specific document citation to provide further evidence.

4. Employee Q&A - Self Service

Krista uses AI Q&A to answer employee questions about expenses, insurance, and other broad HR topics.

Krista finds the appropriate answer from her repository of HR documentation and presents that to the questioner.

In addition, for each question she answers Krista the employee with a relevant extract from the applicable policy data used to provide the answer.

5. WhatsApp Job Application

This demo shows how a job seeker can apply to a new job using WhatsApp and Krista working behind the scenes. (Note that Krista can use a wide variety of communication methods to facilitate this conversation.)

Krista uses natural language understanding to have a conversation with the applicant to capture basic information like the applicant’s name, the position they would like to apply for, and the nearby locations with open positions.

Based on the conversation Krista can set a date and time for an interview and take care of scheduling and notification with the interviewers at the specified location.

6. Employee Onboarding

This demo illustrates Krista’s ability to orchestrate outcomes across a variety of people and systems. In this case, an HR agent initiates an onboarding process, specifying the company (Acme and Sons, LLC), the new hire, and information about the new hire’s role at the company, including their job title, salary, reporting manager, and other key data.

Krista will then use AI to validate the data the HR agent entered against known data of the role and new hire (such as the Offer Letter) to ensure that the agent entered correct and complete information. If she did not or there are some ambiguities, Krista will prompt the agent to review and, optionally, correct data. This ensures that manually entered data is checked and reduces errors.

Krista then sends the appropriate notifications to the people who need to know that a new hire is starting soon. This includes the reporting manager and the new hire himself – informing him of key Day 1 information and activities, providing any forms to complete prior to starting, and, if applicable, initiating a background check.

Krista also integrates directly with the company’s HCM to set up payroll and benefits for our new hire also.

Krista also manages the process of informing and managing the activities other teams at the company will need to perform to ensure a smooth Day 1 experience for the new hire. This includes items like badges and desk space from the Facilities team, equipment like laptops from IT, accounts and system access from the Help Desk, and, of course, scheduling the new hire onboarding training courses with the Training team. In many instances, Krista can perform all these key processes from start to finish, too.

Krista also manages onboarding completion activities as well, ensuring that each step in the process has been completed on time. She can send periodic reminders if certain key process steps have not been started after a specified amount of time.

When a new hire accepts their job offer, the HR Expert asks Krista to kick off the New Hire Onboarding process:

  1. The expert tells Krista the organization and key information about the new hire including name, job title, and salary.
  2. Krista validates the information provided by the HR expert against the accepted offer letter and let’s the expert know where there is data to correct or adjust.

3. Krista then takes care of starting and managing all aspects of the onboarding process:

    1. She notifies the new manager, sends a welcome letter to the new hire, and initiates the background check.
    2. Informs and initiates appropriate actions with the Facilities, IT, Help Desk, and Training teams.
    3. She connects and manages benefits and payroll with the HCM.

4. At the conclusion of the process, she performs the necessary audits and data checks.

7. HR Questions and Answers

This demo highlights Krista’s Process Orchestration capabilities used in conjunction with her AI Q&A features.

In this demo, the user asks an HR related question of Krista, “Do I get paid for jury duty?” As expected, Krista provides an accurate answer based on the collection of HR policies she has been given.

Additionally in this use case, Krista is also creating a case in Jira that keeps track of all aspects of the Q&A session – the question asked, who asked the question, the provided answer, and the documents referenced to provide that answer. Krista even attaches the referenced documents to the Jira case. Krista then closes the Jira case demonstrating how she can manage a process from end to end.

8. Relief Staff Scheduling

This demo features Krista’s email triage capability applied to an HR staffing problem. In this use case, the customer, a veterinary clinic, sends an email request to the staffing agency for a temporary fill-in.

Krista receives and reads the email and captures the requesting clinic, the clinic’s location, the type of replacement staff they need, and when then need it.

Krista displays her process orchestration ability by searching the staffing System of Record for appropriate candidates. Out of the collection of appropriate candidates, she selects one who is available and close to the clinic. Note that a wide variety of selection criteria can be applied here such as clinic and/or relief staff preferences (e.g., maybe the candidate is an ex-employee who does not want to work at that clinic), travel restrictions (e.g., a candidate does not want to travel more than 10 miles for a gig), and many others. Krista can accommodate all.

Also, while not shown in this demo, Krista can always bring a human in the loop when necessary.

Once Krista has identified a suitable candidate, she books the appropriate calendars and notifies all stakeholders through a reply email.
